About Me

The blog name - Les Cadeaux Cards - refers to ‘The Gifts’ my mom lived out in her life: creativity, the idea of making cards, and a desire to encourage others. Thank you, Mom! I hope to follow in your footsteps!

I am a recently retired school nurse who has found therapy and a creative outlet in making cards. I owe it all to my mom, who was making cards years ago and inspired me to do the same.

I started making cards after I had tried scrapbooking. I love how quickly a card can go together, then you can use it to brighten someone’s day! I try to be frugal with my supplies, so you’ll see some of my cards are made with leftover scraps. I love the challenge to “use it all”! I’ve also discovered that I love using bright colors.

I am a member of Split Coast Stampers online and love the community. I send out birthday cards to members, so you’ll see a lot of birthday cards posted. Thank you so much for checking out my blog!
